Dozens of nursery rhymes were recited by youngsters attending the “Story Time in the Park” on Monday morning, August 8th at Queen’s Park. The event was hosted by Ontario Early Years Learning Centre in Woodstock as part of their summer program in parks all across Oxford county. Story leaders were Cara Vanklavern and Meagan McGinnis.

Mike’s valu-mart store manager Chris Edwards serves water to Jimmy Donkers and his two sons, Oscar, 1, and Charlie, 3, at the charity barbecue held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lots of balloons and face painting by Hannah Cole added to the atmosphere. The event raised $400.70 for T.A.P. “It was a great day,” Chris said.
