Two classes of students of Tavistock Pre-School enjoyed a day at the firehall last week as Community Safety Officer Jeremy Bartlett explained the duties of a firefighter and let the youngsters dress up and sit in the vehicles. Jack Zehr tries on bunker gear.

It was a gorgeous day weatherwise on Tuesday, November 1st, 2016. Out enjoying the weather was 3-year-old Nora Hogan pushing her carriage down William Street South along with mom Liana pushing son, Reed.

Gathering at Tavistock Mennonite Church were, clockwise, from in front are: Blair Sparling, Jayden Schumm, Chantelle Sparling, Jelene Fletcher, Julie Bergsma, Emily Woodall, Cassandra Rudnick, Emma Brenneman, and Joellah Fletcher.
