Homeowners on Jacob Street East in Tavistock attended a drop-in meeting at the Tavistock Memorial Hall last Thursday evening to offer comments on the final design drawings for street reconstruction. It is proposed to widen the roadway by removing the sidewalk on the north side of the street. Several new waterline connections will be done at the same time as the new storm drain and catch basins which are being installed on the street. The Tavistock Ladies’ team won the Tavistock & District Ladies Bonspiel on Monday, January 16, 2017.
